Fundraising
The Rochester Figure Skating Club relies on various fundraisers and activities to help develop RFSC’s skating programs and keep them affordable.
For example, every year from October through the middle of November, in collaboration with Sargent’s on Second, the Club organizes a Poinsettia Fundraiser. Sale for these plants can be either through our skaters or from our online store.

Back by popular demand: The Rochester Figure Skating Club’s Poinsettia Plant Sale
As the seasons change and the cooler weather sets in our fundraising activities also kick in. Fundraising and the work by our volunteers are the most important thing in keeping costs down. Our Poinsettia Fundraiser is one of the Club’s largest fundraising activities. As in previous years, we have partnered with Sargent’s on 2nd Street to sell Poinsettia’s for the Holiday Season.
These are spectacular greenhouse quality plants that have a floral ”spread“ of 21½", with 10+ blooms in an 8" diameter pot. A variety of colors are available: red, white, pink and jingle bell. The price is $27.00 when ordered through RFSC.

Plants will be available on Monday, November 25 at Sargent’s on 2nd (1811 2nd St. SW) and must be picked up that day. Pick-up time will be 5:00–6:30 pm.
Enter Sargent’s through the main entrance on the east side of the store adjacent to the parking lot. Once inside, tell a Sargent’s staff person that you are there to pick up your poinsettia order for the Rochester Figure Skating Club fundraiser.
