RFSC Learn2Skate Program

Class Schedule
& Enrollment

The Rochester Figure Skating Club has been a mainstay in the Rochester, Minnesota Community for more than 75 years. The Learn2Skate program is the foundation of our extensive instructional curriculum, sanctioned by US Figure Skating.

Our Learn2Skate and Learn2Skate for Hockey classes are welcoming and nurturing environments geared to share the fun and fundamentals of skating. All of our coaches are certified by the Professional Skaters Association (PSA) and we utilize the U.S. Figure Skating Snowplow Sam and Basic Skills programs for our instruction.

Registration fees for figure skating classes include a U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills Membership. This includes a test booklet, colorful badges for each level completed and of copy of US Figure Skating's Skating Magazine – Basic Skills Edition.

World Tour Show Wrap Up

What a great weekend and great show! Thanks to all of you for your hard work and dedication to making this show happen! We could not do it without all of our great volunteers and this is a tremendous group of committee chairs! You all stepped up and made things happen. We got through a rough week of rehearsals together as a team and the result was an incredible weekend of show performances! The audiences were amazed and the skaters had a blast, so although we are all exhausted, it was well worth the effort! Thank you to each of you for making it so special for our skaters and for making it fun to work together.

It takes a tremendous amount of time and effort to produce our Annual Ice Show. All parents are asked to volunteer in some way.

Volunteer opportunities are starting to roll in and there are more coming. If you haven't done so yet, take a look at our signup and see what is right for you. If you have signed up, we thank you and remind you that you can't volunteer too often!

Contract Skaters Registration Information

Contact your coach to inquire about late registration.

All Rochester Figure Skating Club contract skaters who wish to skate in the club’s {source 0}2025 ice show, must complete the Online Registration Process by Sunday, October 20, 2024. A $25 late fee will be assessed for entries submitted after October 20.

Registration is now open! To sign up for the ice show:

  1. Registration is now available on this website (not the Customer Portal where you normally register). You do not need to be logged in to register, but this will retrieve any personal information saved here (eg: for testing registration).
  2. Complete the Ice Show Participation Form
  3. Fill in all required fields – including your skater’s measurements and select your costume sizes!
  4. After completing this form, ensure your preferred payment information is entered in your customer portal profile. You will be charged a costume deposit of $40 per skater once the cast list is posted (see the Costume Information page for details).
