Costume Distribution Information

Many contract skater costumes will be available by picture day, but not all. This depends on supplier availability for certain styles and sizes. The costume committee will be in touch regarding distribution times at the Rec Center.

Stuff everyone needs to know

  • Costumes are not custom made to your child's measurements. Be sure to try them on right away. Any alterations of costumes are the skater’s responsibility. BEFORE MAKING ANY ALTERATIONS TO COSTUMES, PLEASE DISCUSS WITH THE COSTUME COMMITTEE.
  • Skaters should not play or skate in their costumes before the show.
  • Due to the unpredictable delivery dates, please watch for communication from the club or your show number parent regarding when to pick up your costume.

Information for Contract Skaters

  • Skaters are responsible for purchasing tights if required from their prefered vendor. The costume committee will let you know what to buy. Tights are not included with the costumes.
  • Most contract skaters have an amount left to pay after the costume deposits have been applied. Generally speaking, the deposits have already covered a large portion of the costume total. Upon final billing, You will receive an itemized statement that includes:
    • The total cost of each costume
    • The Grand Finale fee of $5
    • Less your deposit paid.
    • The remaining amount due will be charged to your account by the office.
  • Soloists: Please wear your solo costume for Picture Day (Sunday, March 3). If it hasn't arrived, please wear a competition dress. Solo dresses are also required for Soloist Lighting (Saturday, April 13 at 8:30 am).
