Since 1993 RFSC has been the home of the Rhythm & Blades Synchronized Skating teams. Their successes span from the very beginning through today.
Rhythm & Blades’ Significant Achievements
- 2004 Silver medalists in Teen division at Midwestern Championships
- 2005 Gold medalists in Teen division at Midwestern Championships
- 2006 Silver medalists in Open Juvenile (formerly Teen) division at Midwestern Championships
- 2009 Silver medalists in Open Juvenile division at Midwestern Championships
- 2009 Pewter medalists in Intermediate division at Midwestern Championships and first team to qualify for the National Championships
- 2009 Pewter medalists in Intermediate division at the National Championships
- 2010 Pewter medalists in Intermediate division at the Midwestern Championships
- 2010 Intermediate team competed at the National Championships for the second time
- 2011 Silver medalists in Open Adult division at the Midwestern Championships
- 2011 Hosted Midwestern & Pacific Coast Sectional Championships
- 2015 Pewter medalists in Open Adult division at the Midwestern Championships
- 2017 Pewter medalists in Open Adult division at the Midwestern Championships
- 2017 Rhythm & Blades alumni Maggie Panetta skated with the Crystallettes Senior team which placed 2nd at Nationals qualifying the team for the World Championships
Our teams have had three skaters go on to compete on Junior level teams and one on a Senior team. At least 10 skaters have gone on to compete on Collegiate teams. We have also had many skaters go on to skate on Adult teams.
