Stuff everyone needs to know
- Costumes are not custom made to your child's measurements. Allow time during your pickup to try them on with our costumers
- BEFORE MAKING ANY ALTERATIONS TO COSTUMES, PLEASE DISCUSS WITH THE COSTUME COMMITTEE.
- Skaters should not play or skate in their costumes before the show.
- Due to the unpredictable sizes and delivery dates, some costumes are ordered a size larger and will be altered as needed by the Costume chairperson.
- Due to some unique costumes ordered for this year’s show, crystals will need to be applied on some of these costumes. This means that those costumes will be tried on and then will remain with the costume chairperson to have them crystaled and/or altered. You will be notified when they are available for pick-up.
Information for Contract Skaters
- Skaters are responsible for purchasing tights if required. Tights are not included with the costumes. Please order Mondor light tan footless tights. These are the tights that will go over the hooks on the upper portion of your skates. Please make sure you have new tights or tights without holes for the ice show.
- Most contract skaters have an amount left to pay after the costume deposits have been applied. Generally speaking, the deposits have already covered a large portion of the costume total. Upon final billing, you will receive an itemized statement that includes:
- The total cost of each costume
- The Grand Finale fee of $5
- Credit for your deposit paid.
- The remaining amount due will be charged to your account by the office.
- Soloists: Please wear your solo costume for Picture Day (Sunday, March 8). If it hasn't arrived, please wear a competition dress. Solo dresses are also required for Soloist Lighting (Saturday, April 11 at 8:30 am). If your solo dress needs to have crystals applied, please have this completed before soloist lighting!
